Arts Breakfast of Champions: Recognizing excellence

BCA’s annual Arts Breakfast of Champions celebrates outstanding support and leadership of the arts in Oregon. This lively event recognizes businesses and everyday arts “heroes” who have shown extraordinary commitment to innovation, creativity and economic development.

As one of Portland’s premier places to acknowledge the arts, the Breakfast brings together many of Oregon’s top business leaders and arts organizations for a morning of stimulating conversation and idea-sharing. Guests also have the chance to get an up-close look at Portland’s flourishing cultural scene with special performances from some of our region’s most talented arts groups.

2012 Arts Breakfast of Champions

On November 14, 2012, over 45o business and arts leaders gathered at the Portland Art Museum to celebrate outstanding business support of the Arts. A ‘whodunit of inspiring magnitude,’ the celebration featured artists, performers, business leaders all seeking to discover how the arts went missing. As it is, Oregon’s business heroes make sure the arts will never go missing through out their commitment to our vibrant community.

BCA solicited nominations for the interesting, the bizarre, the people whose characters and special traits and skills give a flare and a flavor to that ever-strengthening bridge between arts, business and community.  Here are the winners:
