The leadership team at Business for Culture and the Arts is responsible for the organization’s success — which translates to success for Oregon. Our team works to ensure Business for Culture and the Arts is fulfilling its vital mission: to strengthen the arts and our economy.

Our support comes from more than 200 companies in Greater Portland that are committed to creating vibrant, innovative communities that that attract top talent. We are governed by a 30-member volunteer board of directors, and benefit from the strategic guidance of a leadership council that helps Business for Culture and the Arts identify trends and opportunities for advancement.

The professional staff in our Portland office champion art and economy by helping Business for Culture and the Arts members grow their community connections. We also help nonprofit arts organizations develop their skills and improve business practices. And we work with more than 50 arts organizations and community leaders to learn more their board training needs, opportunities and challenges.
